Stay in the Know with Analytics Email Alerts
Each week we send registered bloggers and publishers a summary of the social traffic and engagement on their site that originates from AddThis tools. These analytics emails help you stay on top of which pages are bringing the most traffic back to your site, so you can make data driven decisions and do things like optimize content and compare pages.
You can also create alerts, so we’ll notify you if there is a sudden change in shares or traffic for a domain or page. Find out how here. Here’s a tip: when you set up alerts, you can control how frequently we send them – immediately, once a day or once a week. Learn more about AddThis analytics here.
We recently revamped and expanded these email notifications for all of our publishers, so if your site had AddThis activity in the previous week you’ll see an email in your inbox from the AddThis Team. As always, you can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.
Happy Anniversary to Open Source Big Data by AddThis
Hey, big data lovers! Stream-lib – our open source library for summarizing large data streams that are too big to store in their entirety – has been picking up major steam. We're about to break 100 forks and 500 stars on github and you can even use it from within Storm, Twitter's open source stream processing system. We have classes for distributed estimation of cardinality (i.e. counting things); set membership; top-k elements and frequency. We've been using it for years and we're happy to share our code with the community.
Check it out on github if this is your kind of thing. We have an active community and would love to have you! They're currently working on incorporating improvements suggested by recent Google research.
If you ever have any questions or suggestions, please let us know. We look forward to helping you make the best of 2013!
